Patrick M. Jones, PhD
President, Bucks County Community College

Dr. Patrick M. Jones is a retired Colonel with 30 years of service in the Army and Air Force, including leadership roles in the Air National Guard as Chief of Air National Guard Bands and Advisor to the Air Force Director of Public Affairs. During his military career, he led units and missions around the world, supporting troops in the Middle East, Central and Southwest Asia, and the Horn of Africa. His work combined leadership, diplomacy, and morale-building, leaving a lasting impact on service members and communities globally.

Beyond his military career, Dr. Jones has dedicated himself to education and veteran support. He has held leadership roles at institutions including Penn State Schuylkill, Drexel University, Syracuse University, Boston University, and The University of the Arts, focusing on academic innovation, program development, and initiatives for veteran enrollment and success. His work has helped countless veterans transition to civilian life and achieve their educational and professional goals.

In 2024, Dr. Jones became the sixth president of Bucks County Community College, bringing his experience in leadership, service, and mentorship to guide the institution forward. As a guest speaker at the 2026 Iron Hill Charity Golf Open, Dr. Jones will share his story of service, leadership, and giving back to the veteran community.
